Rom and I

Growing up in rural Worcestershire, Lesa Morley's love for horses and dogs started from a very young age. With no formal training, but with a huge passion for art, her talent for capturing animals on canvas developed later in life.

"A friend asked me to draw a mare and colt for his wife one day and I decided to give it a go in pastels. After finishing the painting there was no looking back"
Lesa and her family have lived in central England and France but now live and work in Dartmoor (which is an inspiration in it's self). Creating portraits from within her home studio, she finds producing the images of her client's special pets so rewarding.
"I feel so fortunate being able to do something I love"
No matter what shape or size of the pet - from rodents to livestock, Lesa prefers to to meet and photograph the pets at their home.
"It is important to capture their true personalities and character as they relax in their normal, everyday environment"
This however is not always possible, so a commission can be produced from a quality photograph.
